3. Deposits and Payments
A deposit may be required before materials are ordered, scheduling is confirmed, or work begins.
By approving an estimate or invoice, you agree to pay according to the payment terms provided by DFW Floor Guy.
Late payments may result in:

Delayed delivery
Suspension of work
Additional fees where allowed by law
All sales of special-order materials may require advance payment and may be non-refundable.
4. Scheduling and Access
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the project site during scheduled service times.
Delays caused by lack of access, unfinished jobsite conditions, other trades, furniture, pets, or customer scheduling conflicts may require rescheduling and may result in additional charges.
Estimated installation dates and completion dates are good-faith estimates only and are not guaranteed.
5. Site Conditions
DFW Floor Guy is not responsible for hidden or pre-existing conditions that are not visible at the time of estimate or before work begins, including but not limited to:
Uneven subfloors
Moisture issues
Mold
Structural damage
Improper previous installation
Cracks, dips, or floor movement
Baseboard, trim, or wall damage caused by prior conditions
If unforeseen conditions are discovered, additional work, materials, time, and cost may be required.
6. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
Provide accurate project information
Remove fragile or valuable items from work areas
Ensure the area is reasonably ready for service
Keep children and pets away from active work areas
Review product selections and approvals before installation
DFW Floor Guy is not responsible for damage to unsecured or fragile items left in the work area.
7. Product Variations
Flooring products may vary in color, shade, texture, grain, finish, and pattern from samples, photos, or prior product batches.
These natural or manufacturer-related variations are not defects.
Customers are responsible for final approval of selected materials before installation.
8. Installation Limitations
While we strive for high-quality workmanship, flooring installation results may be affected by jobsite conditions, subfloor quality, humidity, temperature, manufacturer tolerances, and existing structural conditions.
Minor variations in seams, transitions, trim details, and material appearance may occur and are considered normal within industry standards.
9. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are subject to material type, supplier policies, and whether materials were special order, cut, opened, installed, or damaged after delivery.
Installed materials and completed labor are generally non-refundable.
Any approved refund will be handled according to the terms stated in the customer’s estimate, invoice, or written agreement.
10. Cancellations
Orders or scheduled work canceled after materials are ordered, delivery is scheduled, or labor is reserved may be subject to cancellation fees.
Custom orders and special-order materials may not be canceled once processed.
11. Warranty Disclaimer
Any manufacturer warranty on flooring products is provided by the manufacturer, not DFW Floor Guy, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Workmanship warranty, if offered, applies only to the specific labor performed by DFW Floor Guy and does not cover:
Abuse
Misuse
Water intrusion
Flooding
Plumbing leaks
Improper cleaning products
Structural movement
Moisture issues
Damage caused by other contractors or third parties
Warranty claims must be reported promptly.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DFW Floor Guy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services.
Our total liability for any claim related to services or products shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.
